The International workshop for graduate students “Coastal resilience & Nature-based Solutions” will take place in Izmir (Türkiye) between 14th-17th May 2024. The workshop is organized by Ege University and the Society for Urban Ecology (SURE) as part of the Resilient Coasts 2 Climate Project, which is co-funded by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye.

The workshop will focus on providing a basis on Nature-based Solutions for climate change adaptation and disaster risk reduction in coastal cities. It will also address social challenges related to climate change. It is open for students enrolled in MSc and PhD programs in natural and applied sciences, and social sciences (landscape architecture, geography, ecology, urban design). Free accommodation is offered for the participants.
